PLUS SIZE FASHION: (DESIGNER’S THOUGHTS) BEFORE WE TAKE THE VACATION

Next month (November) is Erzullie’s anniversary month and before we take a vacation from October 30 – November 4, 2013 (be back online November 5), here is our little love note.

Wow. 2 more days and then Erzullie’s anniversary month is about to happen. We (literally, Erzulliestas and the brand, Erzullie) are about to celebrate our 3 years anniversary of being together.

I know. It sounds like we are in a relationship. To be honest, I have always viewed this brand as so. It's because of that relationship that the brand has lasted so long and with that, we are eternally grateful.

Thank you, Erzulliestas for giving us the privilege of serving you girls the fiercest plus size fashion in the Philippines.

Furthermore, the annual Erzullie anniversary photos are about to come out. I am actually excited because I think that the theme of this has really encapsulated the brand’s journey this year. It’s all about leveling up and this year, I am proud to say that with your continued business we did.

To add more excitement, the Holiday 2013 diamond collection is also about to come out online next month. We are so happy of our work! Here is to hoping that you girls would love it too.

Cheers!

Aries

PLUS SIZE OPINION: 3 FASHION TRENDS THAT SHOULD COME BACK

Styles become trends because it has refreshed the fashion polis’ palette from the usual and so here are the 3 fashion trends that we think should come back!

#1 Color blocking (In General)

To be honest, I really miss this trend, whether it’s neon, pastel, black and white, neutral. But feelings aside, this trend stylishly infected and addicted many women and men mainly because of the color and freedom it gives.

Using colors, you can play with your proportions, add color to your ensemble and look lively! And in a world where pressures abound, there is a need for us to add a dash of creativity to induce happiness.

#2 Pastel Colors

Okay this, maybe not yet. We are yet to bury that trend deep down in our minds to be in the mood for this ice cream color delight. But I do remember this trend being so deliciously feminine that every woman wanted to sport one.

I do think that this should come back but maybe waaay into the future. I love how these colors bring out a modernized, sophisticated female in each woman.

#3 That long khaki denim skirt

Remember those long khaki denim skirts that dominated the 90’s? I wanted to have those when I was young but I didn’t have the money. Lol. Anyway, it was floor length, usually straight cut or pencil with slits (double or single).

If there is one big denim garment that ever made a woman look casually chic, that thing is it! I remember it being worn with light long sleeve tops and that fisherman hat with the front folded up with a sunflower on it. Lol. The 90’s was such a carefree thing.

How about you, Erzulliestas? What fashion trend would you like to come back?
