I was not able to blog yesterday. Our internet was a little wanky. Anyway, it's another Fierce Friday and we could not be more excited about this. The weekend is upon us! And to start spicing it up, here is a little fierce throwback for you. I actually just came across this photo recently and I was like ... whaaat? This has to be on the Erzullie pages. I love Berna Cuevas' curves here. Don't you? This was taken by Michelle Luciano, a friend of ours, and well it was from the Holiday 2011 collection.

PLUS SIZE FASHION: ARE WE READY FOR SOME PUNK ACTION?

I couldn't sleep last night. There was a lot of creativity going on in my mind. This sometimes gets me asking --- why do all great ideas come at night when I should be sleeping?

Anyway, I was thinking that a lot of people in the fashion polis are saying that Punk will be big next year with the whole Met Gala shibang and all. I was thinking if the Erzulliestas would be ready for some punk action as well? What do you think?

I mean I know you girls would not fully adapt it with the whole working lifestyle and all but maybe we can mold it to your liking, ladies? I mean it is edgy and fierce, what the brand is all about but, you know we dialed down the outrageousness from time to time. Remember this pink fluffy skirt? Hehe yeah... we did that once. 

It (the sketches) started off punk then I went on to Cher of Clueless then married it with Taylor Momsen. Yeah. It's a little confusing. I was also thinking if it is punk enough? Lol I don't want to disrespect the style genre by just throwing in some plaids and studs then I just declare it punk, when the real hardcore actual punks says it is not. Lol. 

These are just sketches of mine anyway.

Any feedback related to the topic is welcome.

Because of Erzulliestas, Friday the 13th was a lucky date for the fashion line! Many of you girls shopped like a boss and grabbed the latest INFINITE COLLECTION! (Pre-Holiday 2012). A lot of girls bought the blazer above as well! ^^ Love love!

THE CALM BEFORE THE CRAZY FASHION STORM... ^^

 I have finally gathered all the photos that I can find perfect for this entry. ^^ So here it is!

Last November 12, 2011, Saturday, Erzullie showcased their Holiday 2011 Collection to both the public and media partners of Empresario (Myx, Metro Magazine, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Rouge, Status, et al.) at the M Cafe of Greenbelt 4, Makati City. 

Models that were present are: Present Erzullie Icons --- Jhaki, Marian and Khris, Past Erzullie Icons --- Jaye and Kat, new in-house models: Andrea, Loren, Karen, Coy and Carol.

MS. MENKEN BRIEFS THE MODELS ABOUT THE RUNWAY... YES, THERE WERE THIN MODELS TOO! ^^

LAST MOMENT OF FITTING WITH PLUS SIZE MODEL ANDREA. THIS IS ACTUALLY A LAST MINUTE CHANGE.

MOST OF THE MODELS' MAKE UP WAS PROVIDED BY MJS. MS. Monique Jaramillo-Seneres IS SUCH A BRILLIANT ARTIST!

MS. GUIDOTTI OF EMPRESARIO MANILA LOOKS AT THE WORK AT HAND. ^^

ONE BIG MODEL FAMILY! BOTH THE THIN AND PLUS SIZE MODELS IN THE PHOTO. ^^

ERZULLIE MODELS BECAME ANGRY AT ME BECAUSE I WAS LATE... HAHAHAHA! COME ON GIRLS!!! IT WAS TRAFFIC! @_@ AND HEY... BERNA WAS LATE TOO... WHY ONLY ME? @_@ HAHAHA.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CAROL'S ABILITY TO POSE... EVEN IN THE GO-SEE, SHE HAS REALLY SHOWN HER SKILLS. SO THIS IS A NON-SHOCKER TO ME. HEHEHE

MY ONLY REGRET: NOT BEING ABLE TO BRING MY CAM TO HAVE MY OWN COPY OF KAREN'S SEXINESS AT THE RUNWAY! SHE REALLY LOOKED HOT FOR THE RUNWAY. ^^

COY'S CURVES AMAZED THE CROWD... AND ME. HEHEHE

AT THE PRACTICE, KAT WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS THINKING SHE DID NOT HAVE A STRONG WALK AND THE FACT THAT SHE CAN'T ACTUALLY SEE WITHOUT GLASSES. LITTLE DID SHE KNOW, NOT WEARING HER GLASSES, GAVE HER THE BOOST OF CONFIDENCE THAT SHE NEEDS. SINCE SHE CAN'T SEE THE CROWD, SHE JUST WALKED FOR HER NATURALLY FIERCE SELF! LOVE IT!

JHAKI IS ALSO ANOTHER GREAT HIT! SHE WAS AN ABSOLUTE PRO ON THE RUNWAY. LOVE IT!

We would like to thank Empresario Manila for making this happen as well as the people that created the look of our models (both Hair and Make Up). We would also like to thank our models' guests for coming and as well as the media that enjoyed both our show and live exhibit! ^^

P.S. MY MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: WHEN THE SPECTATORS STARTED CHEERING AND CLAPPING, WHEN THE ERZULLIE, PLUS SIZE MODELS CAME OUT. SUPER LOVE IT!!!!!!

Omg ladies! I just wanted to say to share this. We were emailed by Empresario Manila after the show, and apparently, owner/creative director/designer of the UK Label, Rocio, Rocio Olbes,*** saw the fashion line and absolutely loved it!

According to the email we have received, Ms. Olbes mentioned to Empresario Manila that:

"... (Erzullie's) part of the show was her favorite part because your girls (Erzullie models) had so much attitude!"

Thank you so much! That totally blew our minds away! We are definitely proud of our models! More info on the way! ^^

STAY POSTED FOR DETAILS ON THIS EVENT."

Yes ladies, you read it right. Empresario Manila is going to change the venue of the fashion show (and consequently, the date). It will still be on November 2011, but not in November 5 to be exact. Be at peace ladies, although we are a little disappointed, (I mean come on! ^^ We are excited as hell!) I always believe that things will always work out for the best always.

We will keep you updated on the final details of the show soon! ^^
