Now later half of my stay in Bohol, my soulmate, Berna, actually joined me. Basically, we went around in a scooter and explored the island that way.

Okay. BRING YOUR LICENSE AND WEAR A HELMET. Please be mindful of how you drive as well. Just because you are on vacation, it does not mean you have a license to be an asshole to the good Boholanos.

One thing that I love about riding a scooter is that you can go on your own phase and it is actually enjoyable to go around the island this way.

Panglao, Bohol is technically just one big island, so you will never get lost. You can practically circle around it and find your way back to Natura Vista in a day.

Anyway, Berna and I love to go to Alona Beach to eat ice cream and drink coffee in Buzz Café. It is also a nice place to chill in and watch an amazing view of Alona. The water there is clear. It is also a white sand one. There are also a lot of mixture of people.

So basically, if you are looking for the “Boracay” part of bohol --- Alona is it. Please care for the environment.

Good to note: You can also take a tricycle back to Natura Vista from Alona. I do not know how much it is. Ask the receptionist before you go. BUT, PLEASE TALK TO THE DRIVER AND NOT THE “CONDUCTOR” OF THE LINE. At the end of the day, you will have to pay the DRIVER not the CONDUCTOR.

There are also a lot of convenience stores and restaurants around the area of Alona. Dunkin Donuts? They got you. 7 Eleven? Near there.

Now, after this, we went to Dumaluan beach. This one is a different setting. It’s just Filipino goodness all over. More waves. Lots of wind. Filipino Families gathering in cottage for rent to just have a party and chill. Alona is a relaxed beach, Dumaluan is very energetic wave wise.

You can practically go there and fall asleep on the sand because of how cool it is.
