A (SUGGESTED) ERZULLIESTA'S PLUS SIZE FASHION NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

We all have New Year's Resolutions and let's get real, although we do not attain most of them, it's fun to at least set them and be faithful with them with at least the first quarter of the year yes?

*giggles*

Anyway, here is a great set of PLUS SIZE FASHION New Year's resolution. What's yours?

1. I WILL ONLY BUY THINGS THAT ACTUALLY FIT ME

There is nothing more sad than a beautiful plus size woman buying a dress 2 sizes smaller than her to make her feel good.

It makes you feel good now but then your closet ends up as a museum of things you will never wear.

2. I WILL GET TO KNOW MY CLOSET.

We have all been there before ladies. We accumulate so much clothing in our closet we don't know anymore what is inside it. Start to organize. Let go of the old and screen DILIGENTLY the things that are new.

Get to know everything that is in your closet and make sure that they are all the things that you wear and they actually still look good.

3. I WILL ONLY DRESS UP IN ACCORDANCE TO MY PERSONAL STYLE --- NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS.

You do have the sense of an awesome personal style within. All you have to do is find it and embrace it. The new chic is the one that only you determine.

4. I WILL READ MORE FASHION BOOKS ABOUT STYLE AND FASHION.

Nothing improves someone better than a nice set of new found wisdom. Grab a book from one of the best style mavens of the world! Rachel Zoe, Nina Garcia --- Tim Gunn anyone?

5. I WILL FEEL GOOD IF THE CLOTHING DOESN'T FIT ME.

I know that this resolution can be a little daunting. How can a plus size woman not be happy when a dress that she loves in that glistening window display does not fit her?

THINK ABOUT IT. If that clothing does not fit you, that would mean more savings for your pocket. If that clothing does not fit you, it seems like you are only meant for FABULOUS COUTURE. If that clothing does not fit you, it only means that you are meant to find a sexier and more body flattering dress.

And besides, why would you feel bad about your self? The entrepreneur should feel bad because s/he just lost 1 sale that would have made a difference at that day. Also, reminder ladies, although we love fashion, we are not a slave of it. It should be our OWN SLAVE.

So feel good whenever this happens --- that ill fitting dress should not define your day, otherwise, you really need to get your priorities in order.

THINGS THAT ERZULLIESTAS CAN LOOK FORWARD TO FOR ERZULLIE'S 2013

Yes. That is a very long title! ^^

But first and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR ERZULLIESTAS! 2012 was such a blessing that we are really looking forward to a more amazing and fabulous 2013! (Hey, the world didn't end for a reason! We have so much to look forward to this year for plus size fashion!)

Here are some of the things that you will definitely want to look forward to from the brand:

1. CORPORATE 2013

Yes! Yes! Yes! It's finally here! It will be launched around February or March 2013, a big move from the intended June 2013 launch date.

2. RESORT 2013

Just think of the words "A Luxurious Sahara Vacation". It will make sense later. Lol.

3. DAY WEAR 2013

What? What is it? Well you just have to find out this 2013. Think of plus size chic stroll in a high end mall. I am responsible for this one.

4. PRE-HOLIDAY 2013 AND HOLIDAY 2013

More information to be revealed soon! Plus Size Designer, Berna Cuevas, is the one responsible for that. No word about it yet.

5. PLUS SIZE MODEL GO SEE 2013

It was a long road and we know we haven't even finished selecting the final models for 2012, but there will definitely be a go see on 2013. Stay tuned until June 2013 for more details.

6. COUTURE 2013 AND A FASHION SHOW?

We have a lot of designs that we know is not going to be intended for the Ready To Wear collections so we "may" have a couture 2013 collection and a fashion show to go with that. Of course, it all depends if we are really ready for it --- skill wise. So we will definitely update you with regards to that.

7. FIRST LOOKS 2013

We are planning a bigger and better First Look 2013. Now that we have personal shoppers at hand, you girls are definitely in for some luxurious shopping experience!

8. BAZAARS (ALMOST MONTHLY)

We will start aiming for monthly bazaars again in the WTC and Rockwell Area. If not, we will be having POP STORES in Eastwood if we can. ^^

For now that would be all. ^^
