A lot of women would think that being 'fashionable' is a lot of hard work. Like only a selected few can actually look stylish. But truth be told, it's all about expressing your personal style. There is no shame with wearing a black tee, short denims and leopard printed flats, while carrying your beaten down handbag. It's not wrong to wear a basic graphic tee, fitted jeans and strap flat sandals. Being fashionable does not mean looking like you just walked the catwalk. The catwalk/runway is for business and entertainment purposes only. Your personal style's sole purposes is to express who you are as a person.
THE POINT IS...
Dressing up in clothes that you feel sexiest/fiercest/ or most empowered is the right fashion style for you. So whether it's casual, goth, fierce, edgy, dainty, delicate, feminine, preppy, outrageous, unthinkable, offensive, rock etc. as long as this is what gives your 'life mojo' going, by all means, EMBRACE!
And so, on with this Erzulliesta Mantra, "I deserve to adorn my curves with fashion" simply because it's one way for you to express who you are as a person. Have fun with it while you still can!
