Anyway, I have always wanted to wear a black pencil skirt because it looks so chic, professional, and sophisticated. Unfortunately, I cannot wear it because (1) I am an inverted triangle. Wearing one would actually emphasize more that I have small hips. It will actually emphasize the fact that I have a bigger upper body too, making me look unproportional even more (2) My buddha tummy. Although it is smaller than my boobs, when I go to my side, you will actually see the bump.
In the course of designing the Holiday 2011, I have drawn this high waisted girdle skirt that will help me curve my tummy. (So that solves number two.)

From the photo above, you can actually see that I have more hips because of
If you are south border heavy, make sure that you fill up your upper part with a detailed top that reaches the half of your beyonce (butt). This way, the beyonce is minimized and contoured at the same time.
If your north and south are so balanced to the point that you do not have a waist, you can still wear this as long as you put volume on both areas and a belt to separate your body.
For hour glass ladies, since you have a very narrow waist, the trick is to find thick belts that can actually elongate it. Try them on and see what works for you as not all thick belts will work. Some thick belts can actually make your torso look shorter, specifically when your boobs are already resting on top of it. But if you do find a thick belt where in your boobs are not resting on it, put it on to separate both your upper and lower body.
Cheers!
