Leggings have become a staple for the plus size woman, not only because of its comfort but its versatility when it comes to styling. Here are some plus size fashion tips that may want to consider in choosing your very own!
PLUS SIZE FASHION TIP 1: SEE THE INSIDE OUT
A garment is only as strong as what is in the inside because that is where the construction lies. If you see that the construction is poor (threads are not trimmed and ends up in a ball, seams unraveling easily with a simple pull etc.)
PLUS SIZE FASHION TIP 2: IS IT SEE THROUGH?
Leggings are not bottoms, but they can be if they are not see through when you wear them. There will be ones that seems like they are not SEE THROUGH but when you put them on with light you will see either your skin or your panties peeping. Check it out thoroughly before you do.
PLUS SIZE FASHION TIP 3: MAKE SURE THAT IT COVERS YOUR BUTT
The reason that you are putting on a leggings is because you want it to cover your waist down. So put them on and make a squat, if your butt is showing, then find a better one!
PLUS SIZE FASHION TIP 4: CHECK FOR CAMEL TOES
I apologize if some may become offended by this tip, but it has to be said. There are a lot of women out there that goes out wearing their leggings, not knowing that their camel toe is showing. ( A Camel toe is the shape that your crotch makes as if it is having a wedgie from your bottom.) This is also the reason why leggings are not a bottom! Anyway, just make sure that it is not dividing up your crotch to avoid humiliation and the wrong suggestion.
PLUS SIZE FASHION TIP 5: DOES IT FLATTER YOUR SHAPE?
Fashion is your slave. After all, it wouldn't be created if you didn't demand for it. Therefore, make sure that your leggings make your body look smoother and your legs longer. If it doesn't, then chuck it!
