The search for The Next Erzullie Icon 2013 (#TNEI2013) is on! And so far, applications are rolling in and we are very happy that the plus size model community is embracing this once again!
Of course, in spirit of the competition, we asked current Erzullie Icon and Plus Size Model, Audrey Lee, for some of her thoughts about TNEI 2013. Read on and maybe you can pick up a tip or two about the upcoming plus size model go see.
On sending your application:
Just make sure to comply to the requirements. Make a check list for you to easily recognize deadlines and missed out items.
On creating a portfolio:
Follow the prescribed list of photos. Try to print them in their best quality. Add photos of previous work that represents you, if any.
On the plus size model go see proper:
Chillax! Don't let your nerves get the better of you. You won't function well if you keep on fidgeting during the whole process.
On being interviewed by the designers:
Be yourself. Not your best self. BUT YOURSELF.
On being selected as an Erzullie Icon:
When you get selected, remember to have fun and enjoy representing not only Erzullie, but beautiful plus size women!
