If there is one thing that Erzullie is known for, it is the wide legged pants. Erzulliestas love both the comfort and effortless chic that it brings. Also it applies more than just one part of their lives. The right solid colored wide legged bottom can transform from day to night, casual to formal, work to party at any time. Finally! Our official post about the Erzullie First Look: Resort 2012!

I must admit that we really had fun during the event. Of course Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals and Ravish (Couture Lashes) were there as well for the curious Erzulliestas who wanted to know where did we get such amazing make up and lashes!

A lot of Erzulliestas came and we are all so very happy to have them there. They all witnessed the unveiling of the full Resort 2012 collection (March 2012 is the official public launching of it). We would like to thank everyone that came for the brand! You girls are the reason why we exist!

Overall, if there is one thing that we need to change is that --- WE NEED A BIGGER VENUE lol. By next collection, we will! ^^

Now on to the details!

DESIGNER'S DESIGN FOR CAREWELL SOUK 2011

We would like to thank everyone that went to the Carewell Souk bazaar and supported the brand/Carewell. You girls are amazing! I have met such brave and fierce women out there. I am so honored!


In the spirit of Carewell Souk (and also a bazaar requirement... hehehe) we wore the Souk Shirts and Erzulliefied it with the Navy blue A-Line Skirt with Lining from the Holiday 2010 collection.

We love Figaro Cainta. No. This is not a paid advertisement nor are we endorsing them now. We just really love the place. It's quiet. It's cozy. It's relaxing. Berna and I usually go there for breakfast or lunch. We also go there for Erzullie meetings. We usually get our best ideas there. It's amazeballs!

Anyway we were there to plan for the upcoming Empresario Manila Holiday 2011 Fashion show. But then it also inspired me for another article, accidentally. In order to catch the great Figaro Breakfast, we have to commute. 

This is where our article comes in.

I know that we all want to look like we all just came out from a magazine, but then we usually get restricted because we commute to our daily places (school/work).Although it's not impossible, it's just a little difficult to embrace our high fashion selves during commute. So I was thinking of a nice ensemble that would make us feel very "fashionista" without sacrificing our commuting comfort. 

Here is what me and Berna came up. Although, again, mind you... this is just what we got. I am not the ultimate fashion expert. Sino ba ako di ba? Haha? (Who the hell am I right?)

Go Out With the right OUTERWEAR

It's the holidays. It's kind of chilly and here in our lovely country, it rains from time to time. Your best friend is definitely the beautiful and fabulous... OUTERWEAR.

For commuting, choose outerwear that does not crease easily. This way, even after you went out of the jeep, tricycle or bus, you'd still look faboosh!

It's commuting and a pair of pants is always your bestfriend. You have more room to move freely south border wise.

To amp up any normal and casual commute trip outfit, choose a colored/printed bottom. This would be great for those who have small hips.

The cousin of pants, leggings are another great bet for you girls. It's flexible, comfortable and most important of all does not crease! To diversify your outfit, wear leggings with cutouts or embelishments!

Me and Berna were out of the Metro last weekend. We went to Dakak Beach Resort and it was such a nice trip. The Beach is great and we felt very relaxed as there were only a few  people there (probably because it's off season). Nevertheless, we loved every part of it. 


The vacation actually gave us inspirations on what outfits to pack for a perfect beach day. (We know it's the holidays but, I blog this as I go! Lol) So here are some of the staples (aside from beach wear) that you may want to bring with you.

The Trusty Shorts







It's the beach and it's hot! Nothing beats wearing shorts and a nice top! But how short is too short? Technically, it depends on the confidence level. If you want to go all out... just wear a belt --- I mean go as short as you like! Lol.

However, a nice guide would be to use your hand. Open your hand and straighten the fingers. Make sure that your fingers are close together and then place it above your knee, while standing up. Usually where your thumb ends, that is where your short should begin. Any longer and it's already considered as a pedal pusher. Any shorter, well I'll allow the curvista confidence to decide.

The Flowing Maxi Pants
Maxi pants are great for the beach because of its' flow mainly. Nothing says relaxation than a comfortable pair of pants. Ditch the denim, and maximize the beach experience by wearing maxi pants that are cool to the skin and soft to the touch!

And of course, your beach night will usually end with a fabulous dinner at either the hotel cafe or the restaurant by the beach. The Maxi dress is great in bringing fabulosity  and sophistication. Choose maxi dresses that flows nicely, is light and also stretchable. Remember! Beach wear should be comfort wear. After all, you are taking a vacation. You are supposed to chill and relax... not feel restrained!
