PLUS SIZE FASHION: ERZULLIE BRAND NEWS!

Hello my fellow sisters in fierce fashion a.k.a. Erzulliestas! (Whew that was long)

Before we dip our toes to the beautiful beach somewhere here in our fabulous country, we would like to report a few updates about your favorite fierce plus size fashion line.

Last night, we were able to visit our production site once again and we are very happy to report that the Corporate 2013 collection is shaping up pretty well and very fast. Furthermore, it seems like our Daywear 2013 and Resort 2013 collections are gaining steam as well.

We know that a lot of you girls are asking when will we be producing bathing suits again. We are currently developing our skills and designs with regards to that. So far, we are getting better at it and if things do go well, we might be able to release one (1) with the Resort 2013 collection.

(Erzulliesta: WAIT... WHAT? Just one?)

Yes our dear sisters, only one (1). We must say that we really respect the craft of creating and designing bathing suits. It's really hard work and there is a need for us to study the dynamics of it's creation. So far, fabulous baby steps will do. We only want to give you the best and so far, this one (1) bathing suit will definitely do for now. That is --- if it does work.

Another great thing to report is that we have finally chosen our ERZULLIE ICONS for 2013. We will be unveiling them soon per collection so watch out for the new faces of the brand. For the models who are asking us when is our next search. Details will be release on June 2013 of this year.

Finally, of course, the ERZULLIE SECRET SALE. Erzulliestas are confirming and we are very happy for the response. Ask for your pre-vite on or before February 10, 2013 Erzulliestas and remember to confirm your attendance on or before the said date to get the full details.

We know that you must be curious as to who is this fabulous female that has been painting GLAMOUR and BEAUTY all over our recent plus size editorials. Well here is a small feature about her. Her name is Azaza Rodriguez, an Erzulliesta and one amazing MAKE-UP ARTIST. Get to know her with 11 questions.

4. My first Erzullie clothing was ... I love it because ...
My first Erzullie clothing was the Yule 2011 printed black and white leggings with the garter on the side (yes I looked at the website for the details lol). I love it because it is my first ever printed leggings and it helped me open up my mind into looking at more adventurous style of leggings, not just the basic black or brown plain leggings. I also love dressing it from a rocker chic or punk or something I use to make my outfit more interesting, it is really more versatile than it looks.

5. Profession: 
I do have a regular office job but on the side I am also a make up artist

6. Why did you choose to be a Make-Up artist? 
I choose to be a make up artist because as I got more into it, it just grew to be more of my passion. And ever since I was a kid I always did love to play with make up, I just didn't think it would become something I could do to gain extra income.

7. How did you get started in being one?
After practicing on my own for a while and awakening my passion for it I decided to enroll in a certificate make up course, I didn't advertise myself after I finished since I was still feeling a little shy but then I started getting comments that I did my make up well, my friends got compliments on their looks when I did their make up. So after that I decided to tell others that I am a make up artist for hire, created a simple calling card and that was the start of it.

8. So far, how is your work as a make-up artist? What is your most memorable styling gig, so far?
It has been slow since I only started late last year and I wasn't even that agressive in advertising my services but it is slowly picking up. The gigs I most remember right now would be the photoshoots and a small fashion show that I did with a few other artists.

9. As a make-up artist, what do you think is the most difficult part of your job?
The most difficult would be............................................... I actually had to think about this cause I never really thought about it. I think it would be going to a place that I have never been to and being afraid of arriving late.

10. What is your favorite make up brand local and international? Why?
Locally I could say Ever Bilena because they are changing the formula on their products and they are turning out well, the ones I like are their lipsticks and foundations. I would just suggest smelling their products before you buy because a lot of them have strong scents and you might not end up using them if you are sensitive to smell.

11. How can other Erzulliestas contact you if they need your services?

Hello to all of our loving and smexy (smoking hot sexy) Erzulliestas!

A lot is going on for us this January as it seems like we are promoting so many things at the same time. There is the "NEXT ERZULLIE ICON" photos, the Pinay Curvies' Plus Size Swap Meet and of course, our JOB OPENINGS.

But of course, there is still more and be at peace, we are here to also give you a little update about the brand's collection this 2013.

We are happy to announce that we are launching three (3) fierce plus size fashion collection on March 2013. The first collection is our much awaited CORPORATE 2013. Expect cigarette pants, our signature maxi pants and another form of bottoms that you surely did not expect. Add in some new tops for work that can translate to play and of course, blazers that will definitely push the boundaries of plus size corporate fashion.

The second collection to be launched on March 2013 is of course, our signature, RESORT 2013 collection. As we have mentioned before, when I (Aries) was designing this collection, I was thinking of an Erzulliesta in a glamorous and ultra expensive Sahara vacation. I hope that you love the dresses ladies.

The third collection is a new one. I have dubbed it as DAY WEAR 2013. It's actually our version of fierce plus size casual clothing for your day by day need of subtle fabulosity as you stroll along the mall, have road trips, do errands etc. You have clamored for both colors and shorts and we have listened. We hope that you like our Erzullie twist to it.
