PLUS SIZE NEWS: THINGS THAT ERZULLIESTAS CAN LOOK FORWARD TO THIS 2014

Erzulliestas! As 2014 opens, here are some things that you ladies can look forward to from Erzullie!

#1 Resort 2014 by March. Although the final dates are to be announced, we may launch this at the upcoming SuperSale Bazaar event or privately via First Look event. As usual, the items are demi-couture (limited in number, 4-16 pieces each style, and both hand and machine made).

#2 Pre-Holiday and Holiday 2014 by June. Again, final dates are to be announced but we will be definitely launching this via one big First Look event.

As all of you ladies know, we release our Pre-Holiday collection by July, while the Holiday one on October. If you want to get your Fierce first before the rest, you ladies must register immediately as soon as it opens!

#3 New Icons. Yes! It’s that time of the year where the new icons are crowned. We have the final three and we will be featuring them one by one. Who will be The Next Erzullie Icon for 2014? You ladies are about to find out.

#4 A Curvy Bazaar/Fashion Show. Details are to be finalized, but we are so excited for the prospect of this.

#5 A revamped Erzulliesta blog. We are planning to revamp the blog, making sure that the content is something that will inspire and interest Erzulliestas! Our little online magazine if you will. Stay tuned for that!

PLUS SIZE FASHION: A SUGGESTED 2014 FASHION AND STYLE RESOLUTIONS

As the year 2014 opens, the opportunity of improving our fashion and style is yet upon us. Let’s cease this opportunity and embrace new positive fierce plus size fashion habits! (You may also want to read our 2013 resolutions --- still have some good wisdom there.)

#1 I will only buy the best.

If we think about it, a high quality, Php 1,500 garment (approx. $35) that we buy once a year and use it all year round (even more) in different styling is a better investment than buying 10 pcs. of poor quality Php 250.00 (total Php 2,500 approx. $58) because it is easily ripped or discolored.

#2 As much as possible, I will buy from the local plus size fashion scene.

2013 showed me a lot of new and exciting local plus size brands and the creativity is outstanding! This year, I aim to wear more local plus size fashion brands as much as possible. I think it will be good to rejuvenate my style.

#3 I will curate my closet better.

Curating your closet will help you define your style, make your personality more concrete, save you money from buying things you will never use and maximize all of your garments! If that is not fashion & style utopia, I don’t know what is!
