PLUS SIZE POWER: 3 MOVIES THAT EMPOWER AN ERZULLIESTA

When things go bad, you can always depend on that one movie to make you feel great and escape for a while. With that in mind, I have recently asked my Erzulliestas what movie do they watch that make them feel so empowered. Here are their answers (and mine too!)

#1 The Intern

One of the must underrated film of all time. The Intern stars Anne Hathaway opposite Robert De Niro about an old guy getting into the "Senior Intern" program of a budding online fashion shopping business. It is directed by Nancy Meyers who is known for her warm heart approach about portraying life and love itself.

Why do Erzulliestas love it? Maybe it's the fashion. Maybe it's the business. Maybe it's the fact that it's about a boss finding a confidant (Erzulliestas do need someone to confide in). Whatever the reason is, watch this film if you want to end up feeling good in a way that is unexpected.

#2 The Devil Wears Prada

This is no mystery. It's about MIRANDA.

Starring Anne Hathaway (yet again) with the beautiful and multi-talented actress, Meryl Streep, the movie is about a young woman who was never interested in fashion but in desperation to find a job in the publishing industry, ended up working with the toughest boss in the said industry.

If you are looking for a movie of feeling good for doing the "hard right things". Then this is the one for you.

#3 Charlie's Angels The Movie

Fierce independent fighting women who work as a team? It's like this movie just described an Erzulliesta way before the brand was born!

This movie stars Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz as the ultimate, all-female task force group saving people and kicking ass both in life, love and work. So go and watch this movie if you want to get your warrior goddess mode on.

It's worth it!
